Alvin, meet your newest member

It appears that Alvin and the Chipmunks have another member to add to their group. Ben had his wisdom teeth removed on Wednesday. It looks like he is storing up food for the Winter months. He has taken up residence in our "FROG" and has watched TV pretty much around the clock. Carolyn has been very kind to come and hang out with our poor little puffy faced boy. His procedure went well and is on the road to recovery! He is not the only one who has been hurting this week, Anna has been at Cross Country running camp. We haven't heard from her all week so we are hoping that she has survived all of the long runs!

What's up Doc?

This is a warning to all of our Dad's patients. If he seems distracted in the office it is because he is having some trouble at home. This is not gossip, but common knowledge. A family member has been responding to our Dad with nothing but a dirty attitude. He has tried everything to mend this relationship, but nothing has worked. Things may appear fine on the surface, but deep down the relationship is strained. Okay, it's the pool(did we get ya with the picture of Wes?!) We have had an algae problem for a couple weeks now. The people at the pool store have come to know our family quite well as we buy and try different products. It's been driving Dad CRAZY! It's pretty much all he can think about and talk about! You can see him checking the latest pool water report from the pool store. The new pool products are there too.

Early Grammy Prediction

The video above is raw talent. The guitar, not the lighting and video job(we'll have to work on that for next time) Make sure your computer volume is nice and high so you don't miss the sound of a future Grammy winner. It might sound like he is playing the same thing over and over again, but if you listen closely you'll realize that he is playing the same thing, but with different emphasis each time. Also, you can spot an adoring fan to the right of the video that came to rock out at the concert. There's just one word for this kind of music: stellar. Move over Mr. Clapton, Mr. Santana and Miss Crow. There is a new guitarist in town.

Good friends and good eatin'

A family at church has an annual July 4th get together at their house. They live on the lake so we enjoy a nice view, swimming, boating and...they smoke a pig the night before so we get some really good barbeque! It was a great chance to catch up with friends. We grilled out later that night as well. Dad and Ben were around, but didn't make it in any of the pictures :)Wes got that grill smokinnn!Our festive placemats!

Trips

Mom and Anna went up to Cincinnati last weekend for Wes and Sara's shower. Sara has family up North. They had a great time! Opening presents
