Marty
Ma got a camera from her boyfriend for their 28th wedding anniversary. Here's a picture she took of her spider on the back deck. She's a budding photographer (Watch out, Sara!) She'll probably be the next Marty Stouffer. Remember, fam? We gotta give props to the hours we spent with PBS watching Marty. Reason why we love camping? Marty. Reason why we passed the SAT? Marty. Reason why we have a good relationship with our Dad? Marty. Reason why he put the TV in the closet every couple of months? Marty. Reason why Mom won't kill insects? Marty. Thanks, Marty!
Incredible Hulk
Wednesday night was Kent's b-day BASH. Here's the group shot.... Who doesn't love eating at a fold out church table and church chairs? The Suits didn't know that the Parkers can't sing for their life.
The cake's apperance had something to do with a grumpy teacher, an apple pound cake that was dumped too early, a flying oven mitt covered with cake and a nice guy who baked the rest of his birthday cake.
Casey's gift to Kent!!
He also racked up on Wii stuff. Kent and Dad are playing Carnival in this picture. Happy Birthday, Kent!

GO TEAM!
Chick-fil-A was a hoppin' place yesterday. Labor Day is already a nice holiday by itself, but throw in a FREE original chicken sandwich and it's starting to climb the rank next to Valentine's Day, Halloween and Groundhog Day...
All you had to do was show up wearing some kind of team logo! The manager at the restaurant called Mom & Kait a "mixed couple" because of the Clemson/Carolina shirts. What he didn't know was that it was a) the best team logo shirt Kait owned and b) Ben's t-shirt for Mom to wear. We threw on the shirts as we pulled into the (crowded) parking lot. GO TEAM!

Double Trouble
Yesterday the house was packed with people & fun as we celebrated two birthdays! Mom's birthday was yesterday and a friend from church, Roy, had his birthday earlier in the week. Mom and Dad had the 2 guys, Kent & Kait, Ben & friend, and another family (7) for lunch. 15 people! Here's some of the group filling their plate with Mom's tasty cooking. Dad and Roy
The birthday cake march! 3 cakes in a row...Abby, Luke and Kent. Ben leads "Happy Birthday".
Roy makes a wish and gets a little help blowing out the candles.Ben rushed home from Charleston in time for Mom's birthday and even found time to make a cake for her. He got 150 extra "good son" points for that one. He bought the trickster candles for the cake (the ones that kept coming back and had Mom blowing for a loooong) He lost 25 points for that one...We enjoyed food, friends, cake and swimming together! Happy Birthday Mom & Roy!

Paaartay
We celebrated Mom's birthday a few days early because we didn't want Wes&Sara, the soon to be road trippers, to miss out on the fun (They were there..just no pictures of them) Here are the hostesses. Every newlywed needs a handmade apron made by Rachel C.!! The birthday gal! Nice and warm under a blanket.
Buisness Man Ben serenaded us with some music while the food cooked.Laughing about presents
Ben's gift wrapping job was worthy of a picture.
The cake!!
Ma, make a wish.. and happy birthday!! You're the best!
