LOOK WHO CAME FOR A VISIT!!

Our washer&dryer had to work extra hard on Sunday because BEN made his first trip home from college!! We have to give him extra guy-points for changing his sheets just a month into college and not waiting all semester(..Wes and Kent) He was only here for a short overnight visit, but we were glad to have him back! Dad finally had somebody to talk about sports with and for once the lunch coversation did not revolve around clothes, hair, boys and makeup.

Ben drove back by himself and Mom made sure to go over all of the directions with him :) We have had frozen pizza for the past 3 Sunday night dinners.. it might be time to switch things up, Mom.

Showers, Surprises and a Special Birthday!

WE'VE GOT GOOD NEWS!!! Mom is now able to get her SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT at the Goodwill store. She actually went on the day of her birthday to get it! Robin drove all the way from D.C. and surprised Mom for her birthday!!

Mom is a) praying b) trying to exercise c) thinking about our last camping trip or d) blowing out the candles on her b-day pie?

Answer: D!A few couples from our church had a wedding shower for Wes and Sara. It felt like Thanksgiving or Christmas because boths sides of our family were there..ehh!Mom and Grandma showed up wearing the SAME outfit. How creepy is that?! Guess Mom's already getting used to dressing like a senior citizen.

We were able to enjoy a relaxing week at the beach a couple of weeks ago. We hit some really hot (but perfect beach) weather. Kent and Carolyn joined us half way through the week. We spent most days on the beach; in the ocean, taking walks, playing football and wiffle ball. The evenings were spent playing poker and ESPN was on 24/7! The boys have to squeeze in a years worth of sports in a week because we don't have cable. Here are a few pictures. Sara brought her camera and took some fancy pictures of us. Thanks Sara!
