Brain Fart

Anna, let's review... TSP is short for teaspoon. C stands for cups. When a cookie recipe calls for 3/4 TSP of baking soda they really mean 3/4 teaspoon! While Anna was out of the kitchen, Mom snuck a bite of the cookie dough and began to laugh hysterically. She shared a bite with Dad and Kait. Dad actually had to run to the sink to spit it out. We finally got Anna, the great chef, to try a bite and she agreed..something was terribly wrong :) But! A ruined batch of cookie dough works as a great joke. She stuck the bowl in the fridge and when her two brothers came in late that night they couldn't resist a late night snack. We missed the yummy cookies that could have been, but hey- if we can get the boys to eat gross stuff...bring on the baking soda!
We have a feeling Anna and Mr. Dough Boy are going to be verrrry good friends!

Where'd all the popsicles go?

This is a look at our garage. A dresser, work clothes, golf shoes and a stick of Old Spice now live there.

Wes is back! He moved in recently and will be here until October. Now that he's back...the icecream, popsicles and freeze pops are gone. There are more Sports Illustrated magazines to climb over to get to the toilet. We hear the rumbles of a LOUD truck every morning@6:20 am. Ben is suddenly wearing different (stolen) tshirts. Less hot water for showers. But hey, one more person to nag and harrass which means more laughs around here.

WELCOME BACK WES!!!

Father's Day

Sorry we've been MIA for awhile. We just finished up with Saluda VBS last night. This was year number 3! Our camping trip at the end of May was quiet interesting. Note to self: make sure the areas have RUNNING creeks and streams BEFORE hiking out. Yep..we ran out of water! We each take 2 nalgenes full of water and expect to fill up with water that we find on the trails. It's worked out everytime before! Needless to say we had to hike back out earlier than expected(which made many of our team members..Mom,Ben and Anna VERY happy) Pictures are coming soon! Dad was on call for Father's Day this year and doing the Pastor thing. He preached and had to run back to the hospital. He missed lunch, but we had dessert and presents with him. Leave it up to him to ruin his presents though. Well, who's at fault? Yall can decide! Mom ordered his presents off of HIS Amazon.com account. Amazon sent Dad a confirmation email. Dad read the email and the books that "he" ordered.

We've got the BEST Dad!! He is always pointing us to Jesus andddd reminding us that we don't live in a youth hostel and that family dinner time is a MUST :)
