Happy Easter

For those of us who trust in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins, Easter is a time when we can remember his death and resurrection. He bore our sins on the cross and now we are counted with His righteousness! Happy Easter."But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus." Romans 3:21-26

Watching Paint Dry

Mom put Dad to work on his day off recently and they painted the shutters. It turned into a two day job partly because Mom picked that bright green that you can see at the bottom of the shutter. Way too bright for us so she had to make two runs to the store for paint. Mom always tells us we have many house projects to work on.. they've got one done!Mom was holding that ladder with all her might while Dad made comments like, "Hmm I really could fall off " and Anna asked him, "So does it scare you to be so high up?"Their professional can holder

Don't they look dashing? We ate a whole lot of candy this afternoonMom sent us on an egg hunt.. Ben was the winner with 13 eggs!Anna counting her eggs. She found the egg with $5 in it

And reason number 3: You just read the 100th blog post!!

MOH

Kait's best friend, Kerith, was in town visiting for spring break. We celebrated Kerith's engagement with this home made cake!Kerith and Jay after he proposed in January

Shortly after Kerith arrived she gave Kait a word scramble... it spelled out "Maid of Honor"!! Kerith also asked Dad to be a part of officiating the ceremony. No date is set yet. There were many trips to bridal stores to try on dresses and a trip to Bed Bath & Beyond to check out things to register for. Here are the animal oven mitts we found. Kerith ended up buying the monkey :)Kait led her first kayak trip. We survived and the kayak stayed on the car going to and from the river! The bride and Maid of Honor!

Meet Mr. Impulsive

The conversation went something like this...

Dad: "Kait, let's go buy an elliptical"
Kait: "Okay"
Dad: "Nahhh. We can always just go running on the street"

2 minutes later.......

Dad: "Kait, let's go get it"
Kait: "Okay"

One hour later we were home taking apart the pool table.
Anna working hard on assembly
Dad, Anna and Kait worked hard to get it put together unlike some other people..Mom and Ben decided to sit back, watch tv and rest up for the strenous workouts ahead.
