Mummy Wrap Nap

Pastor Chuck assumes the Post-Sermon Mummy Wrap Nap position.

Post Thanksgiving

We don't have any family ph0tos from Thanksgiving Day. We were scattered over a couple of states on that day. On Friday the girls, Mom, Dad and Kent went down to Georgia for a post Thanksgiving get together with Mom's side of the family. There was lots of good food to eat!
This is a new bunny that Cousin Connor has. He has 4 of them. The flash on Mom's camera was off so most of the following pictures are a little off. Here are the girls with Grandma.
L to R...Kait, Gma, Anna, Alldyn (cousin), Aunt Lynn, Ashley (married to Andrew- cousin) and Mom.Here's the whole group!!! Again, no flash...which is a bummer, but there was no way that the group was going to sit still again. The Petersen Family & Grandma GertieMila-Pearl and Darla sat back and watched.

Students

Anna came for a visit this weekend. She brought along her friend Ashley and a huge bag of laundry! Here she is packing up to leave on Sunday afternoon- nice rain boots!
She's a freshman in college, but is sporting her 5h grade class t-shirt." She's a loyal student. She's our college student and here's the teacher-turned-student on "Turn Around Tuesday." Students dress like teachers and teachers dress like students!

GO TEAM

Wes&Sara ran the Governor's Cup Road Race (half marathon) on Saturday. A big step in their marathon training! Wes says WHAT'S UP to the camera. With their medals.
Ma and Pa were there to cheer them on.
Rachel C, a faithful blog follower, ran the race FASTER than them. Rachel, you rock! And GO TEAM PARKER.

Good Grief

Dr. CHP still knows his stuff. He studied for months to take his relicense (That's not a word, is it?) test. We would often find him at the table with a teapot and his books (see above picture) He took the test at the end of October & we don't need to wait for the results... we know he passed 'cause he's DA BOMB.

One Place

There's only one place where you can do and see so many things... Like abnormally large pumpkins. That one place is the South Carolina State Fair! They have large pumpkins and albino pumpkins.
You can get a free Chiquita Banana hat...if you're brave enough to snatch it from the stand without dressing up in the banana outfits to get your picture taken first.
You can get a prize for one scrapbook page.
You can learn about the danger of feral hogs. Forget the corn dogs and rides...this is the real reason to go.
You can teach your Mom to "LOOK ALIVE" in pictures.
You can see cute cakes
and cakes that look sorta familiar....
larger than normal, but still familiar..
Kinda like the guy you just killed. The white beads are from the popcorn ceiling...it was a massive attack. Good times at the State Fair!!
