Sunday Snoozers

Load everybody up with a few pieces of pizza and they'll slowly drift off to dreamland. Ben was one of the Sunday snoozers...along with Mom who chose the floor as her snooze spot.
Dad caught his nap early and was watching the last bit of the Olympics.

Pizza Pizza

Ma bought a pizza kit from a lady at work. Sunday lunch was pizza lunch! This was Ma's pizza. There were a total of 3 & they were tasty!

Work Day

The snow didn't keep the guys from joining Wes for a Work Day. The Parker II's are giving their back room a mega make over. All the guys were there & Anna hung out with Sara for the day. They made progress and the end product is going to be fab!

Aftermath

The aftermath. Saturday morning.
The backyard
The pool
The cars
The house
The street
The driveway
The most dignified and handsome dog.
The broom sweeping action move
The sister who should move her fancy jacket and boots to a big city
The sis and bro-in-law heading downton
The last blog post about snow.

Build Up

Time: 4 PM Snow came slowly. Kind of like dandruff.
Time: 10 PM Check out the build up! Badabing Badaboom!

Snow2

Here's the group shot! WE LOVE SNOW. Kent climbed the tree without anyone noticing. When everyone was under the tree, Kent shook the tree and all the snow tumbled down. Sneaky, sneaky! Then he jumped down and onto Chips. Like, onto Chips. Chips was hobbling, Kent felt badly, the sisters freaked out...and then Pastor Chuckles reminded us that Kent's feelings were more important than Chips' legs. We just love Kent AND chips. We're happy to report that Chips recovered nicely and Kent's emotions are still there.
Precious Ma & Pa. They're going to be wishing for these snowy days when they take off in May.
Kait attempted to sled down the front hill on a kitchen pan.
The ride was a total rush of excitement and emotion. All 6 inches of it.
Winter Walk- around 9 PM.
Mom, Dad and Anna

and LOOK ALIVE!
Snow angels. The top one is Dad (he only moved his arms- not his legs, can you tell?) Bottom left is Anna, bottom right is Kait. Making snow angels in someone else's driveway is the best time to do it. Especially when the driveway belongs to Dad's patients (shhh).
Kenneth's snow ball.
Kent went in for the attack....
got her!!
Wow. This picture might have to go up for Picture of the Year 2010 just for Kent's snow outfit.

Snow1

This picture was taken on Friday afternoon around 4:30. Here's the house- the snow began to stick! Elementary Schools let out at 1:30, Middle/High Schools at 2:30/3:30 which made for happy students and happier teachers. Dad & Kait were the only ones home. You never know how much snow it'll be and how long it'll stick around so a walk was called for pronto. We proudly support Lexington Medical Center.
This is the middle of the walk. Snow came harder. Also, the neighborhood mailboxes make a perfect resting place for cameras.
Ma's flower in front of the house!
Anna made it just in time for the snow fun! Game on.
Chips enjoyed the snow for a bit. We decided he's probably too fat and old to jump fences anymore. We followed him around just in case. He used to be quite the jumper and runner back when he was a young buck.
Our precious snow puppy.
The Suits Family came unarmed for the snow. In the following pictures, they are both sporting Dad's clothes.
The guys get suited up for the night of fun.
Do we own sleds anymore? Sadly, we don't. Here are our make shift sleds. They didn't work, but it was a nice idea.
WE LOVE SNOW.
If you're in a snowball fight you want to be on Dad's team. He is a snowball maniac. Unless Wes is around...then it's a toss up.
1 example: Dad had pegged Anna in the head right before this pictures was taken.
The tree was nicely coated by about 8:30 PM. We all hid behind trees and trashcans and waited to attack Ma. We got her nice and good. No pictures of that- we were too busy with Operation PTN009. (Peg The Nurse). 009 is just to sound fancy. There are more snow pictures to come because when it only snows every 8 years, you gotta dedicate more than 1 blog post to it.
