This picture was taken on Friday afternoon around 4:30. Here's the house- the snow began to stick! Elementary Schools let out at 1:30, Middle/High Schools at 2:30/3:30 which made for happy students and happier teachers. Dad & Kait were the only ones home. You never know how much snow it'll be and how long it'll stick around so a walk was called for pronto. We proudly support Lexington Medical Center.
This is the middle of the walk. Snow came harder. Also, the neighborhood mailboxes make a perfect resting place for cameras.
Ma's flower in front of the house!
Anna made it just in time for the snow fun! Game on.
Chips enjoyed the snow for a bit. We decided he's probably too fat and old to jump fences anymore. We followed him around just in case. He used to be quite the jumper and runner back when he was a young buck.
Our precious snow puppy.
The Suits Family came unarmed for the snow. In the following pictures, they are both sporting Dad's clothes.
The guys get suited up for the night of fun.
Do we own sleds anymore? Sadly, we don't. Here are our make shift sleds. They didn't work, but it was a nice idea.
WE LOVE SNOW.
If you're in a snowball fight you want to be on Dad's team. He is a snowball maniac. Unless Wes is around...then it's a toss up.
1 example: Dad had pegged Anna in the head right before this pictures was taken.
The tree was nicely coated by about 8:30 PM. We all hid behind trees and trashcans and waited to attack Ma. We got her nice and good. No pictures of that- we were too busy with Operation PTN009. (Peg The Nurse). 009 is just to sound fancy. There are more snow pictures to come because when it only snows every 8 years, you gotta dedicate more than 1 blog post to it.
