Thursday was Dad's 51st Birthday! Mom got him in the car along with Kent and Kait. He had no idea where he was going. He was convinced that we were driving to take our picture somewhere (uh, interesting guess). Here they are in the car- he's trying to get Ma to tell him what's going on. He was also super worried that Ben, Wes and Sara would show up to an empty house.
He wasn't too worried about the other guys after Kait made a "phone call" to Wes telling him about the mini road trip. It wasn't until we pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant that he finally put all the pieces together. He might be a smart doctor, but he's not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to other aspects of life. We went to
DOC's. This picture didn't come out, but it's the sign out front. It says "So good it'll make your tongue slap your forehead."

After we chatted, chowed down on a southern buffet (including catfish nuggets. Yum) It was time for presents (the hat is back!) and goodbyes. Happy Birthday, Boss Man. We love you!
