"Hi, I'm Shelly..."

Here's the first post of a few that document Mom and Dad's trip in pictures. Here's the airport departure from their view. Mom in the Amsterdam Airport
View from the planeMosquito nets! Dad's in bed in this picture. You can't really see it, but he's got the "Oh my gosh, you're a nut. Leave me alone" smile on his face that he gets when we take pictures of him in his sleeping bag while camping. In Kenya, they stayed overnight at a place for missionaires. Nice view! Not too shabby.
Here's a view of the house. They said they met some interesting missionaires there.
Ma was meant to travel. She'll walk right up to anyone and with a simple "Hi, I'm Shelly..." or "Where are you headed?", she can strike up a conversation with anyone. Here she is with a Doctor from North Carolina. He wants to build a hospital out there.
The Dr. was kind enough to snap a shot of them. This was before they took off to Sudan.
The booming airport in Kenya
