Here are creatures that we found at the beach. If you go fishing (which we don't) you're likely to catch little sharks and sting ray, but we've only seen 1 or 2 people catch a regular ol' fish. Kent's holding a neighbor's freshly caught shark.
Some cranes were hanging out on the marsh one morning
We see a ton of sea turtle nests that are guarded with signs and sticks, but we've never seen the big hatching moment. Wes found this poor little guy that never made it to the ocean. Bless his heart.
IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE??? Every year we get stung by jellyfish and this year was particularly rough. Here is the Doctor and nurse trying to sooth the sting. Usually we shake it off, but we tried vinegar and baking soda. It wasn't the big cure and watch out...vinegar in a water bottle looks awfully like water in a water bottle.
The Doctor saved his own leg. Just like the show ER. What a hunk. Everyone got stung except for Mom, Sara and Kait. They spent a minimal amount of time in the water just to avoid it.
Here's the little sucker that does all the damage. They don't have brains so to get stung by a small piece of flubber that has no brain...it can make you super peeved.
While we sat in the tent, we were accompanied by all sorts of bugs. It was funny to see Ali with the bugs because he hasn't seen about half of the bugs that are down here.
